Christmas 2012

A Baby's First Christmas

1. Wrapping paper is awesome.  I chew on it until it's soaking wet and pieces are coming off.  Doesn't get any better than that!
2. Great Grandpa's are awesome.  They come and visit all the way from Arizona and like to play with me and take pictures of me with an iPad.
3. Christmas dresses are yucky.  I had a couple dresses and had to wear both of them with ruffle-butt tights.  Yuck.
4. But Daddy's are awesome.
5. Christmas trees a fun to look at.  Bright lights and ornaments make for some pretty good entertainment.
6. Families are awesome.  We watched "Home Alone" which is Dad's favorite movie ever and I thought of how much fun it was to spend Christmas WITH my family.
 7. Presents are also awesome.  When you get the wrapping paper off, turns out there is crinkly, colorful, fun and tasty stuff inside.

8. Grandpa's are awesome.
9. Cousin's are awesome.  I spent Christmas with two of them.  One was noisy and ran around and I watched him a lot.  The other one was tiny and quiet and I grabbed his feet.
10.  Christmas was awesome. Let's do it again!

7 Months

This little girl is definitely her daddy's buddy.  She likes him too - when he walks in she just lights up and usually gives a giggle or two.  She smiles ear to ear when he pays attention to her.  She is starting to show her daddy's traits as well - she's got dark brown hair, brown eyes - so far no dimples though.

At 7 months Hannah weighed in at 15 pounds.
Still wearing 3-6 month clothes.
Starting to roll front to back - sometimes she surprises herself and rolls back to front.
She is sitting up by herself with no problem.
Loves to turn pages, eat paper, read books.  She loves singing along with music at church too.

6 Months

 Hannah at 6 months:
Weight: 13 lbs 9 oz
Length 24 inches
Likes to make lots of grunting noises.  Starting to be more and more smiley.  She cries now when we take away her toys - which Bry likes to test out.

Occasionally she is very quiet and will occupy herself for hours on end.  The rest of the time.... this is one noisy little girl.
She loves playing with her toes and socks - best toys ever!

Too Long

I know - this post is woefully late.  I didn't even keep up with my 1 post per month.  Oops.

Here is our Holiday Baking day.  Hannah was more into tasting the utensils - and since most of it had raw eggs in it she couldn't have any real tastes anyways.  She did enjoy getting to help out in the kitchen though, I think.

 Love her "surprised" face!

We will work on timing the posts for 2013.

Hope you had a wonderful holiday and a good start to the new year!
